RIbbon Cutting Grand Opening at Zymurgy Brew Works and Tasting Room
On October 14th, Torrance Mayor Patrick Furey and the Torrance Chamber of Commerce cut the ribbon to the new Zymurgy Brew Works and Tasting Room. As LA's "Do-it-Yourself" brewing experience, under the guidance of a brewmaster, patrons experience the thrill and fun of brewing their own batches of beer. For the homebrewer, Zymurgy Brew Works and Tasting Room's 15 gallon kettles brew larger batches of their proven recipes. The onsite staff handles all cleaning, kegging, and bottling.
"Torrance is so rich in the craft brewing revolution. We are honored to be included in our local community,” said Bill Baker, owner of Zymurgy Brew Works and Tasting Room. "We look to establish ourselves as a proponent of local beer culture--as a meeting place to exchange and share brewing ideas.”
To ever experimenting tap handles test and challenge craft beer aficionados to try something new.
"The beauty of brewing in such small batches, we have the freedom to explore new recipes," Baker said. "A lot of the time, the brewmaster who brewed the beer you're drinking will be sitting next to you sipping his newest creation and is open for questions."
Grand opening festivities went all day and included complimentary gourmet, errrr, bacon wrapped hotdoggers--the perfect companion to a tasty brew.
